What does Van Bieren do?
Albert Heijn and Gall & Gall give their stores room to sell products from their own region. Think of the beer from the village brewery or the genever from the distillery down the road. It makes a store local and recognisable.
Supplying a national retailer means providing product data, following pricing procedures and exchanging electronic messages. We help local suppliers work with those requirements.

The work we take off your hands
From product data to delivery, we handle the administration with the retailer.

Product data
We enter product details, EAN codes, packaging and images in GS1, giving the retailer the information it needs.

Pricing
We record purchase prices and process price changes for the retailer.

EDI connection
We exchange electronic messages with the retailer through our EDI connection. Suppliers do not need to set up their own connection.

Orders
We process orders according to the arrangements with each retailer. We forward Gall & Gall orders to the supplier.

Delivery
Whether you deliver directly to stores or through the distribution centre, we handle the administration.

Stock
After delivery we book the receipt with a dispatch advice (DESADV), so the store's stock is correct.

Invoicing
We check every invoice against what the store received. If there is a discrepancy, we resolve it with the supplier.

From beer shop to local product partner
We started with a beer shop in Amsterdam and grew into a wholesaler for hospitality businesses and liquor stores. Today we use that experience to support local products at Albert Heijn and Gall & Gall.
